On a version of the Limber to Laceby
course which sees the finish at the top of a long up
hill drag, Sam recorded a time of 23.58 over the 10
mile course which was 50 seconds quicker than the 5th
place rider from Team Swift. On a fine and reasonably
still night, the fastest rider was ever young and experienced
veteran Tony Stott (Science in Sport) with a time of
22.34 which was quick enough for first place with former
fast Junior Adam Hardy (Team Swift) in second place
with a time of 23.10.
Sam can be pleased with his ride upon his recent return
home from University where he can now train without
the distractions of university life.
