Despite being the only Cherry Valley
rider on the start sheet for the Rockingham 25 on the
A1 in Nottinghamshire on Saturday 10th September, Richard
was not alone in suffering ill fate as the rest of his
team mates would suffer with him over the course of
the weekend.
Richard couldn't make it to the race after suffering
a blown head gasket on his car on the way home from
work on the Friday night before the race. Bad luck.
Most of us blow a gasket at some point Richard, but
mostly on a bike and not the car. Richard will be back
in action next weekend where he is joined by team mate
Gareth in the Thurcroft Road Race.
