Sams wet affair!

Sam returned to racing on Saturday 6th May in the British
Universities 25 Championships with 1 tooth less than when
he started his last race, but this time he successfully negotiated
the entire course almost trouble free.
Sam had a solid ride around the course in Oxfordshire and
despite the poor weather conditions which rained for most
of the day Sam enjoyed his ride and the course. With BUSA
10 winner Danny Axford starting as favorite and finishing
as winner, Sam performed better this week in the rain over
25 miles. After a fast start Sam started to suffer cramps
at the 20 mile mark which slowed him down considerably towards
the end.
Sam eventually crossed the finish line after a trouble free
ride in a time of 59.36 to complete his first 25 time trial
of the season and finish a very creditable 22nd in the championship.
With only a few weeks of Sams university year remaining,
Sams form is taking an upward turn and he is now looking forward
to the summer months when he rode at his best last year.
