Despite more bad luck, Jon takes the win

Jon Surtees once again partnered Gary Empson in the Kings Lynn 2up team time trial on Saturday 14th April.

Jon and Gary took a comfortable win in the 2up and set a new event record and only just missed the course record in the process. This was a good ride by Jon after more bad luck had upset his training during the week. Just 2 days before the event, Jon had fallen of his bike after he got caught in a tow rope between two cars whilst out training in London. Jon and Gary won comfortably by 2 mins 45 seconds from the second placed pairing.
