Another fine win for Andy

Scunthorpe RC Circuit TT - 6/05/2007 - Laughton, North Lincs

Andy Moore(Cherry Valley RT) scored another this year in the Scunthorpe RC circuit time trial held on Sunday 6th May. Andy covered the 18 mile course from Scotter along the Trent bank to Morton before turning to Laughton Village then the finally through Laughton Woods in a time of 42.40.

With a strong head wind blowing along the Trent section which made the going tough, the riders expected the less exposed section of the circuit to be easier with the wind behind them. This didn't materialise and as the section from Morton through to the finish was well protected by trees so it was still tough coming back through Laughton Woods. Andy crossed the finish line with a time of 42.40 to finish 1st, 49 seconds faster than Joel Wainman (Team Swift), 3rd place went to Anthony Nash (Scunthorpe Poly) and Karl Downes at 45.04.
