Darley Moor Road Race- 17/03/2007 - Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Gareths race diary...
'I was looking to this race as another hard training session
which it turned out to be. In fact, it turned out to be quite
hard as I just couldn't produce any power and just felt really
weak all afternoon. The race started with the usual frenzy
of attacks but it was the really strong winds (unusual for
Darley Moor) that eventually split the bunch into several
groups. I was suffering but managed to hang in there and eventually
the race was spilt all over the circuit with Dean Downing
taking the win from a lead group controlled by Rapha Condor'.
