Walsall 2up 25 mile Team Time Trial - 25/03/2007

Nursing his injuries and an ill 2up partner, Cherry Valley’s Jon Surtees made a trouble free return to racing this weekend after his heavy fall at Boston last week. This week, Jon returned to the Walsall RC 2up 25 team time trial in the Midlands and partnered long time friend Gary Empson (API-Metrow). With Gary having the last few days off work with a heavy cold, it was down to Jon to set the pace for the pair most of the way around the course.

Despite Jons visible injuries and some discomfort from a sore knee, following the crash at Boston, Jon and below par Gary finished the 25 only a few seconds slower that event winners.
